A course for Core Training Stage trainees who are looking to expand on their advanced clinical skills. The course focuses on teaching and practicing key skills including communication and interviewing, formulation, a pain orientated physical exam and facilitating patient pain self-management. It also includes a session with simulated patients from the Pam McLean Centre. We encourage trainees to attend this course during their first year of training. This course is only available in an in person format, due to the interactive nature of this course. Registration fee includes meeting registration, catering and course content including a session with simulated patients from the Pam McLean Centre.
