Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises (EMAC) Sept 2024

Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises (EMAC) is a simulation-based course focused on managing anaesthetic emergencies. Held on Thurs 26th Sep to Sat 28th Sep (2 full days and final day finishes at approx 1pm). The course consists of the following five modules: Human factors Airway management Cardiovascular emergencies Anaesthetic emergencies and Trauma management EMAC is taught by anaesthetists with educational expertise, offering participants the opportunity to develop and hone their practice in a high ?delity, safe learning environment The course is suitable for: • ANZCA trainees in BTY 2 or above who have successfully completed the Primary exam • GP Anaesthetic trainees close to the completion Overseas trained anaesthesia specialists in the SIMG group • Specialist & GP Anaesthetists Adelaide Health Simulation utilises contemporary simulated environments & equipment, facilitating best-learning practice.
