Time 0830-1630 Suitable for Anaesthesia trainees BTY1 & above, Anaesthesia consultants, Anaesthesia nurses, Anaesthesia technicians Location HNE Simulation Centre, John Hunter Hospital Campus Aim To provide a refresher in the management of neuro-anaesthesia crises Content This course provides an update on current management of neuro-anaesthesia emergencies with an additional focus on the principles of Crisis Resource Management (CRM). It is aimed at the ‘occasional’ paediatric anaesthetist who would like to refresh their skills and Advanced Trainees in Anaesthesia preparing for fellowship exams. Paediatric anaesthesia emergencies require effective teamwork to endure best possible outcomes. ANZCA CPD category 2 (knowledge & skills – participation in a course). Credits: 2 credits per hour.
