Time 0830-1630 Suitable for Anaesthesia trainees BTY1 and above, Anaesthesia consultants, Anaesthesia nurses, Anaesthesia technicians Location HNE Simulation Centre, John Hunter Hospital Campus Aim To provide a refresher in the management of neuro-anaesthesia crises Content This course provides an update on current management of neuro-anaesthesia emergencies with an additional focus on the principles of Crisis Resource Management (CRM). It is aimed at the ‘occasional neuro-anaesthetist’ who would like to refresh their neuro-resuscitation skills and at Advanced Trainees in Anaesthesia preparing for fellowship exams. Neuro-anaesthesia emergencies require effective teamwork to ensure best possible outcomes. ANZCA CPD category 2 (knowledge & skills – participation in a course). Credits: 2 credits per hour.
