Time 0830-1630 Suitable for Anaesthesia trainees BTY1 and above, Anaesthesia consultants, GP anaesthetists, Anaesthesia nurses, Anaesthesia technicians Aim To rehearse the management of anaesthetic crisis. Content This inter-professional simulation-based course focuses on the management of anaesthetic emergencies with an emphasis on teamwork and communication. At a consultant level, this course is an opportunity to accrue CPD points. It also provides an opportunity for senior clinicians wanting to refresh their skills. The timing of the course, between the final written and vivas, is designed to support advanced trainees preparing for their exams. ANZCA CPD Category 1 (practice evaluation & skills - participation in a course): 2 credits per hour ANZCA CPD Category 2 (knowledge & skills - participation in a course): 2 credits per hour Certificate will be provided.
