Vic Primary Exam Refresher Course

This ten day course will be run largely on a seminar-tutorial basis with short answer questions, and is for those candidates intending to sit the primary examination. The 2 week timetable is scheduled from Mon 17 Nov - Fri 28 Nov 2025, 9am to 6pm. The course will be held face-to-face & have the option of joining online via Zoom. Melbourne Winter Anaesthetic Meeting

SAT 30 - SUN 31 August - A combined ASA and ANZCA CME Meeting held in person at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. A two-day meeting comprising scientific program (plenary sessions) and case based Practice evaluation (PE) session on day one and optional workshops and small group discussions on day two. This is a popular meeting known for the pragmatic nature of the presentations in the scientific program. Human Factors/ Crisis Management - WA ACE Lecture Series

Our local weapon of a HF anaesthetics expert is an anaesthetist working at FSH with an interest in human factors. He has worked with prehospital and emergency teams across the globe where optimisation of human factors has been critical to successful management of critically injured and ill patients. He teaches human factors to clinicians to enhance outcomes for unwell patients. If you are interested in attending the case based discussion on the 21st of May, please submit cases where human factors have been sub optimal. Please highlight what factors you believe contributed to the issues, the more details the better. The cases will be de identified to protect confidentiality of patients and clinicians. A suggested framework for optimising human factors will be proposed and discussion had amongst the assembled clinicians. The CPD for this event falls under Category 1 Practice evaluation • reviewing performance, case conferencing.

Kimberley Dreams and Trauma Teams - WA Country Conference

The ACE WA Committee, Fiona Stanley Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital are pleased to introduce the 2025 ACE WA Country Conference. This conference will be held at the fabulous Cable Beach Resort in Broome, lectures will be held on the Saturday in the Sam Male room, while the workshops will be held on the Sunday morning.
