Major Haemorrhage ER Workshop - WA ACE Lecture Series

Dr Rebecca Monaghan is facilitating this Major Haemorrhage ER Workshop at the ANZCA WA Office. Using a combination of facilitated discussions and simulations, participants will develop and practise the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to manage major haemorrhage and the complications that arise including cardiovascular instability and coagulopathy. This course promotes a team-based approach and anaesthesia assistants are encouraged to attend with their medical colleagues. Participants in the ANZCA CPD Program may claim this MH course as an emergency response activity in their CPD portfolio. There are 5 stations:  -Large bore venous access -Obstetric haemorrhage -Trauma case discussion including resuscitation physiology -Real life case discussion including ROTEM/TEG and selection of blood products -EZIO station You will receive an email prior to this event to confirm your attendance.
