Perioperative Medicine - WA ACE Lecture Series

Dr Lisa Redgrave, Perioperative Geriatrician and Internal Medicine Physician at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, presents an update on perioperative medicine. Dr Redgrave is a UK trained specialist and has lived and worked in Perth for the last 12 years. In recent years she has completed the Monash Masters in Perioperative Medicine and also holds the Chapter of perioperative medicine. She works on MAU in acute medicine and as the Neurosurgery geriatrician. She has been part of the topic working group for the recently published Australian Commission Clinical Care Standard on Emergency Laparotomy.  In this session Dr Redgrave will summarise the key quality statements of this new standard and give an overview of relevant / topical perioperative medicine advances. There will be plenty of time for questions. Please register and select your mode of attendance; refreshments are provided for in-person attendees from 6.30pm, the session will commence at 7pm.
