2026 Melbourne Winter Anaesthetic Meeting

Saturday 8 to Sunday 9 August 2026 - A combined ASA and ANZCA CME Meeting held in person at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.  This year’s meeting will include discussions about methadone, emergency laparotomies, pre-eclampsia, tips for working with interpreters, and more. The meeting, including the workshops, will help you meet your CPD and cultural competency requirements.  A two-day meeting comprising scientific program (plenary sessions), including a case-based Practice evaluation (PE) session on day one and optional workshops and emergency response workshops on day two. This is a popular meeting known for the pragmatic nature of the presentations in the scientific program. PLEASE NOTE: Overall meeting registration is available to all anaesthetists and trainees who are either a member of ANZCA or ASA but the practice evaluation session is for senior trainees and fellows only (i.e. no medical students, no prevocational trainees)
