ANZCA Educators Program (AEP): Queenstown 2027
Every day, fellows and trainees create learning opportunities through teaching, supervision, feedback and role modelling, whether supporting specialist trainees, teaching medical students, facilitating learning with multidisciplinary colleagues or sharing expertise in the workplace. The ANZCA Educators Program (AEP) is designed to help you elevate how you educate by refining the skills that support meaningful learning and professional growth. Through an interactive, practice-based approach, participants explore evidence-informed educational strategies and apply them in real time, including preparing and teaching a non-clinical practical skill to another participant in a supportive learning environment. Following the course, participants complete a post-course activity that provides an opportunity to apply AEP concepts within their own educational context and reflect on their impact in practice. Catering is provided throughout the course. Course hours are 8.30 am-5.00 pm on Day 1 and 8.30 am-1.30 pm on Day 2. ANZCA and FPM trainees can use participation in the AEP and completion of the post-course activity to meet scholar role requirements.
